I was hired by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, to film a video component for their monthly magazine 2008-2009. It was a valuable experience meeting those in the DC art’s community, and learning more creative techniques around conceptualizing and performing a creative edit. Most of the pieces were under 4 minutes long and inclusded a wide variety of interviews and b-roll.
The E. Elthelbert Miller and Sam Gilliam interview was highlight of that work. I decided to repurpose it for my webseries, The Angle in 2011.
