The rooftop of the old studio was a location in so many of my videos. If one were adventurous enough to make it up the ladder, then it was on. Not the greatest of views, but anytime one can get some blue sky as a background and the cool aesthetic of rooftops near the knees, it’s gonna be a cool ass shot.
Komplex came back by the studios again and with that, I was ready to shoot. It was a lot of work getting the jib and lights up there, but I did it… all by myself. The amount of work I’d put even the smallest production was mind-blowing. But I’m thinking, it was all worth it.
I gathered all my b-roll clips that had anything to do with clouds. All the time-lapse material from old productions in addition to some new footage specifically for this.
